Job Title: Cook A (All Shifts) — Summer 2026
Location: Cyprus Employment: Full-time (48 hours/week) — EU/EEA & Cypriot nationals only (no visa sponsorship) Start: Summer 2026
About the role Join a stylish hotel in Cyprus as a Cook A. Prepare and cook menu items to standard across all shifts, support smooth kitchen service, and help train junior staff while maintaining hygiene and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and menus.
- Ensure timely production and correct portions for service.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness, food labelling, storage and HACCP compliance.
- Check daily food requirements and prepare requisitions.
- Adapt dishes for dietary needs and special requests.
- Report equipment issues and collaborate with service staff.
- Support training of junior kitchen staff.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a professional kitchen (hotel/resort experience preferred).
- Strong cooking skills and knowledge of food safety/hygiene.
- Good English; Greek is a strong advantage.
- Able to work under pressure and flexibly (evenings, weekends, holidays).
- Professional appearance and team-focused attitude.
- EU/EEA or Cypriot nationality required (no visa sponsorship).
